Which are the job positions?

Internships relate to the tourism industry. The most popular internships are in the Hospitality industry, Hotel and Restaurant management, Trading companies and other economical organizations, etc. Each candidate has the opportunity to receive an individual offer. Internships must relate to your educational focus or to your previous work experience.

Internships are an excellent way to gain practical training, management skills, and worthless work experience. The trainee will rotate through all company departments. A supervisor coordinates the training and evaluates the work performance.

Internships are available in many different states throughout the U.S. The final location is determined by the organization that provides the training program.

Actual Positions

Front Desk/ F&B Trainee Positions in Hospitality Luxury hotels in USA

Company: Luxury hotels located on the East Coast, New York, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida

The internship is based on rotation between Rooms Division and Front Office Operations and includes obtaining skills and knowledge in reservations, front desk operations, housekeeping and night audit.

Requirements: at least second year University student or graduate in Economics; fluency in English and hospitality experience

   
Pay rate: 7.50 - 10 USD per hour Duration: 12 months

Paid Internship in Food & Beverage – New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine

Company: fast food restaurants - KFC, McDonald’s, Dunkin Donuts.

Position: We have a complete training program that will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a successful Restaurant Manager, including rotation between kitchen and front of the house; preparing daily reports, learning how to provide exceptional customers service and guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.

Pay rate: 8.50 – 10 USD per hour, secured housing and bonuses upon performance

Requirements: ideal candidates are at least second year student or graduate in Economics, good level of English and appropriate experience

Paid F&B Managerial Training Position Successful chain of fast food restaurants in Cincinnati OH

Company: Renowned chain of restaurants, with over 30 restaurants

Position: Trainees will receive managerial training through rotation at different positions. Training includes gaining certificate in Food Safety by ServSafe ( a nationally recognized training course on food safety recognized by over 30 states ), restaurant equipment troubleshooting / maintainance, human resources training including labor laws / employee rights, supervision / employee development techniques, hiring / interviewing do's and don'ts, and a host of other training criteria.

Company: Hotels located in main cities and resorts in Florida

Position: The trainee will go through all the daily operations in a front office department such as greeting customers, managing multi-line switchboard in the Hotel and Restaurant. Check-in of guests, reservations, and check-out of guests. Customer Service, including deliveries of special services and information, preparing detailed reports on daily audits in regards to daily business transactions including cash and credit reports., training new employees for the front desk reception area.

Pay rate: 7.50 USD per hour

Management Training Program in Orlando, Florida

Company: Renowned restaurants located in downtown Orlando Florida

Position: The internship is based on rotation between the different positions of the restaurants, including server, busser, kitchen help and shadowing the managers in order to learn how the restaurant is organized.

Pay rate: 8.50 USD per hour

Requirements: Ideal candidates are motivated to develop in the field of Hospitality, graduated or at least second year students in Economics, with very good English and positive attitude.

Duration: 6 - 12 months
