Conflict Resolution
In every company there is potential for contention among groups. Occasionally this can be a positive force, as in situations where contention promotes competition between groups and increases productivity toward achieving results. Problems arise when conflict decreases communication between groups and disrupts the performance of basic tasks within the workplace.
Consultants will assist in finding the source of the conflict and:
- Developing procedures for solving conflicts between groups
- Improving efficiency between groups and divisions
- Enhancing the efficiency with which general tasks are performed
- Promoting a more cohesive and effective team
The role of the consultant may vary according to the source of the conflict.
